Create Import Connection in SAC tenant on File Server for Excel files

Create a Connection in SAC tenant on File Server for Excel files import to build and schedule data load periodically into SAC Acquired Models.

Go to SAC System Administration --> System Integration

  1. Enable option "Allow model import from File Server" 
  2. Enable second option in screenshot if users required to export files.

How does a datasource communicates "DELTA" with BW?

SAP R/3 or ECC DataSource Delta mechanism for SAP BW/BI What is Delta? It is a feature of the extractor which refers to the changes(new/modified entries)occured in the source system. How to identify? In ROOSOURCE table, key in the data source name and check the field "DELTA". If the field is left blank,it implies that the datasource is not delta capable. The field 0RECORDMODE in BW determines how a record is updated in the delta process. Now the question is how this delta will be brought to BW?
